i don't think Gerald will start this year except maybe at the very end. Doc doesn't seem to like him too muchit's really stupid, they say that they don't play Gerald bc he's a bad defender, but this team is simply not good at defense to begin with! and lmao, they even put him on LeBron once. The weird thing is, he didn't do half-bad.

D WestPierceWallyGomesRatliffI'd say Perk, but we don't definately know for sure if he will be ready at the start of the season. If he happens to be ready, I would deff put him over Theo. I'd also say that Telfair will get some time at the starting PG position.

I think Perk is going to step up this year. We'll need him to, that's for sure. I think he'll prove to be a solid force in the middle, and a beast on the boards.

i think even if Jefferson progresses this year, that Gomes will still be starting. Al would be a great guy to anchor the bench imo. A good option to have down low, when things aren't going well on offense, he is the guy to give the ball to.

CB4, if you dont know that much about the celtics, dont come in and tell celtic fans stuff that they know isnt true. they are just going to make fun of you. if you didnt spam so much, you wouldnt get made fun of as much. By spamming, i mean posting in something you dont know what you are talking about or something you dont have interest in...starting lineupgosh this is hardpg-delonte westsg-paul piercesf-wally sczerbiakpf-ryan gomesc-kendrick perkinsThe bench for the C's is really good IMO. Honestly, Rondo or Telfair could start at the pg spot. I think that the C's will see alot of Delonte playing at the 2 and paul playing the 3 spot so bassy and rondo can get minutes.

yeah, i love this team's depth, but i think we might have too much of it. That's why we freaking need to get a 3-for-1!!

Re: Next Year's Probable Starting Lineup?

If Szerby gets traded for a solid big man, than Delonte can move to the 2, PP to the 3, and Bassy and Rondo can share the role at PG, and both can get a good amount of minutes..I hope Ainge does something with Wally, imo he doesnt fit with this team..

Re: Next Year's Probable Starting Lineup?

Looking through the Celtic's roster you guys have a lot of young talent, there are a ton of players who can definitly start. One player I really wanted to see step up for you guys was Al Jefferson but his development was slowed down by an injury I believe, a surprise last season was Gomes this second rounder just came out of no-where and opened some eyes. Heres my take on your starting 5:PG: Telfair+can penetrate, when hot has an unstoppable shot. - assist to turnover ratio, will he be able to run the team?SG: Pierce+ AllStar, what more can you say?SF: Wally+ Nice stroke, can fill up the score sheet- will his constant health problems effect his game?PF: Jefferson* 06-07 will be his yearC: Ratliff+Great shot blocker, a definite presense on the defensive end- Lacks offensive gameI only watch Boston games whenever they're aired in Toronto so dont blast me if I didnt put someone in your starting 5. Allen, Gomes, West, Perkins and Green - is this a deadly bench or what? One more thing: Iv blacklisted Gerald Green for his unprofessional last second dunk against the raptors !!!

I just really like the core of young players the Celtics have. In a matter of years the Atlantic division can go from the laughing stock of the NBA to the best division with all the young talent it has, EVEN the Knicks have potential!(Frye, Robinson, Lee, Balkman)

you're right. The celtics/Raps should be a good rivalry. All offense, no defense. haha
