How did I compare him to Grant Hill? I just said to look at Grant Hill. He had one of the worst injuries in NBA history, but when he got to play he still played well. So I think Amare will still play well, and it wasnt as serious as Grant's.

He didn't play much at all because of the injuries, so again great comparison CB4.
I wasnt even making a comparison at all lmao. I was rather talking about how he played when he got to play, not his situation and minutes. He played well, so I was suggesting that if Grant Hill can play that will with his injuries, Amare can definately play all-star calibre ball after his injury. That's what I was trying to say :happy0144:
Well Amare improved on some things and hopefully with KT there he can improve on defense too. Hey...layups are worth the same points as dunks... :no1: WHY?!?!?!

Your comparing Hill playing with his injuries which he was never able to fully recover from and ignore to Amare's comeback this season. That is a comparison. Again, who cares if Hill played well when he came back, it was still his injuries that prevented him from fully returning full time. Bad comparison because even if Amare plays well, if he plays Hill like games, he won't help the Suns at all by playing games every now and then.
No, it wasnt a comparison. I simply said that if Hill can play well with his injury, then Amare can definately play well with his injury. And Hill's was alot worse. If you can't understand that, Im not going to bother anymore...

The obvious answer is probably no. He just got a knee surgery that has ruined and shortened NBA players careers. He can still be a great player in the league but not what he would've been if he wouldn't have gotten injured. I mean he just lost his explosicism and athleticism two key parts of his success. It's a shame to. He could've been an absolute star in the league.
Yeah, CB4 wasn't making a comparison. I mean, look at Waqas and how he posts (or rather doesn't). Certainly CB4 can not make comparisons like Waqas doesn't.I am trying hard for you guys to get this joke.
I think it may be a good idea to limit him to about 25mpg this season. Take it slow, the Suns will still 50 games without mortgaging their future.
Without Amare and Tim Thomas and having Kurt Thomas healthy, the Suns were on pace for around 60 wins and Amare will be better than Tim Thomas was even if he's at 75%. I think you're making this too much of a big deal. His knees haven't been bothering him at all. His surgically repaired knee wasn't even his problem when he came back last season. I don't think he should get over 40 minutes or play center, but he can play in the 30's this year when he improves his conditioning. He just probably won't be throwing down those dunks over people. I don't think he's knees will bother him as much right now, maybe shorten his career when he's older. The Suns have to win next year or wait for a long time. Nash, Marion and Kurt will be gone or ineffective soon.
Sadly, he will never be back to 100%. Some of his problem is going to be mental and that will hurt him just as much as the physical aspect. He is still going to be a good basketball player but he wont have the explosivness or ability to just dunk on people at will.

He probably won't be exactly the same your right. But he can still come back, and be a all star, and even have chances for a MVP in 2 years, or when ever he is close to fully recovered. The Suns should slowly get him back like someone said don't let him play more then 30-35 minutes a game at first when he comes back next season.
