Well, many people think that this guy will be a complete scrub and benchwarmer for us. I watched the pre-season game of the Raptors vs. Tel Aviv and I can honestly say that Parker impressed me. He had a good mid-range and he was a decent scorer. He posted numbers of 14.8 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 1.6 spg, 3.7 apg, 57% shooting and 36% 3pt shooting. Those are very, very impressive numbers, so it shows he can do more than just score too. In a type of stat in European basketball where you combine all sorts of statistics to get a figure (kinda like efficiency rating) he is 2nd in European basketball. So how well will he do for us? (Non-Raptor fans, try not to say ignorant things in this thread...)

I don't think he will get anywhere near his numbers from the Euroleague, but I don't think he will be a complete scrub. I would imagine he will be behind Mo, Salmons, and Grahm on the depth charts so minutes may be hard to come by. May take him a a year or two and thats the thing he is 31.
I think he can score a few buckets coming off the bench. I mean.. he did well against the Raps last year in the pre-season.
I think he may struggle at the beginning but towards the end of the season, like after the All-Star break he will start to open some eyes that he can actually compete at an NBA level.
