Quarterback Tate Forcier has left San Jose State and is not a part of its football program due in part to his poor academic standing at the school, a source told the San Jose Mercury News on Monday. Forcier enrolled at San Jose State last summer after a lengthy transfer saga that originally had the former Michigan quarterback heading to Miami.
