He will be an unrestricted free agent in July. Obviously we will have a better idea of his health in July, but based on what we know right now, how much do you think the Blazers should offer to keep him?

It's all dependent on health and if he's actually going to be able to produce after 2+ years away from the game. Based on what we know now I vacillate between letting him walk and giving him an MLE level deal.

He is coming back in March, just in time to get enough games to be ready for the playoffs. Average 15/12/3 in the playoffs and demand around 12-14 per season. Blazers will probably pay it too.

He never even came close to averaging that when he was healthy because of constant foul trouble ... with him almost certainly on a minutes limit when he comes back and the massive amounts of rust he'll certainly have, I'd be shocked ... SHOCKED I SAY!!! ... if he even managed to put up 8/6/1 in 25 minutes a game.

Hell, I will be shocked if he ever steps on the court again, and can even stay there for 5-10 games. Counting on him is like counting on Obama to cut spending

I say we should let him walk. It will be painful as hell if he becomes what he can be, but I think it's time to move on

Greg may play 10 games this year but all this money talk is a waste... He's gone, will get a fresh start on another team and be the most hated ex blazer ever. Watch and see!

For fuck sake he should be paying us!!! He's made 20 million + to sit under an ice bag! How about he signs a contract for league minimum to Ptown as a thank you to a fan base and ownership that he's done nothing for as a #1 draft pick while banking millions!!

That's kind of my feeling, as long as that total isn't *too* high... As an UFA, he doesn't have to take our offer though (thank G-d). If he wants to play with us for $1 more, then great. If he doesn't, great.

agree, he can walk (if he can), roll, crawl or be wheelchaired away, lets just forget him and move on. It there is some miracle and he does play and actually looks good (dream on Mags) I'd offer him a small contract with incentives only. If someone offers him a lot then good riddance. My guess is he man never play again, for anyone.
