Good. My fear this year is that the expansion of the north end results in a bunch of slackass yuppies that sit the entire game. Will arrange for the tickets and would suggest atleast $60 minimum.

    Update
Singles at $10 still available for PHX, MIN, and DEN
    Pair for Cleveland @$50 total 305 row H 1+2
Vouchers available dollar for dollar at the RG gift shop and eateries

Auction ending at the end of the second quarter of the Cleveland game
Monday January 23rd vs Sacramento $125
Wednesday Feb 1st vs Charlotte $125
Tuesday Feb 21 vs San Antonio $125 (TOB bid)

Day one total $650 with a opening goal of $5k

Just about every charity auction I have been to has done this. Was thinking of maybe having a get together with raising money by selling entry tickets and auctioning off memorabilia. Donations of wine would be nice.

I run a wine company - I can put something together. As an event/get together is put together and we have an idea of the size of the event, I'll pull something together on this.

Excellent. Will keep everyone posted and will take any other donations as well. I know I have some Blazer memorabilia like signed balls and such that would be better off helping someone get back to the Rose Garden to support the team.

This is Mike this morning. Still in great spirits despite TNT dropping the ball last night.

No problem . . . I've enjoyed your game for over 7 years now (think I'm almost to ten years going back to espn days)

BTW-Looks like I won the auction, making arrangements to pay CF and having him hold the tickets until we see who wins the month of January (I need to start getting my predictions in).

(Still have my Zbo signed edition of Rip City and Blazer Edition Addias shoes signed by Outlaw :) )

Currently selling my tickets to tonights game to some people in Newberg. I'll let you know when I get the money how much I'll be able to donate. I'll probably be selling tickets to a few other games as well coming up, as it had been something I was planning on doing anyway. No better cause than this, especially if I "claim" to be Christian on the OT board. Hope we're able to keep raising money!

    Thanks.

Have not been able to get to the hospital to see Mike in a few days, but he had said they were supposed to move him to a different facility. He was having keyboard issues on his laptop and guess his wife would call if there was anything serious going on. Hopfully I hear from them soon to find out how much everything will be.

Just got off the phone with Mike's wife. She said to thank everyone for the encouragement as it has really helped Mike. He still faces a pretty daunting challenge, but it is easier knowing that there are people willing to help him.

Currently, he is being prepped to leave for a recovery facility to lose the weight the insurance company requires before becoming a candidate. Once that happens, we can get a price of what they will pay and what Mike's family will be responsible for. Without knowing even a ballpark figure, I do not want to actively solicite funds. As of now the donation total is $750 and will be placed in an account to be used later. I will accept donations though and will keep everyone posted on any changes to this situation.

Thanks again to everyone as I think it will be an even greater day to be a Blazer once we get one of our veteran fans back out to the Rose Garden.

Talked to Mike today and he had a setback. He is currently in the ICU, but still plans on going to the rehabilitation center soon. He just wanted to tell everyone hello and hopes that he can be back on the board shortly.

Good luck mgb. It must be very hard to lose weight when you are immobilized.

Just got back from the convelescent care Mike is at. Still a mountain to climb, but he is still making progress and seemed happier. No definite word on what he needs to do or pay for the surgery, but he is doing what he can in order to be a candidate.

I made it out to see MGB also. I tried to help him get his computer going but we think his monitor is bad. So, if anyone has a monitor he can have or borrow he would appreciate it.
