Anyone can do that sort of think. That doesnt mean their nice. And Charlie V won the NBA Cares award (or whatever it's called) for February. He is setting up his own foundation for kids with the same hair loss disease that he has. Also before every game he brings kids in with the disease, talks to them, and then buys them tickets to see the game. He is a class act. He's already done alot of this stuff, and he's only in his rookie year.</div>I have read that book almost 3 times, the media blows it way out of proportion.Kobe Bryant is also a differnet person that he was let's say in 2000 or 2001 .I'm not sure what you are talking about in the book but Kobe Bryant is an awesome person.I'm not sure who it was,but my dad's friend met Kobe in training camp in like 2005 and he said he was the nicest dude he ever met.Now I'm not saying Kobe is the biggest humanitarian or the nicest person in the world but I gave you guys those stories to let you know he does do things and isn't some selfish human being who does nothing for the community.Guys like Mutumbo and Elton Brand are real humanitarians.Manute Bol also comes to mind when thinking upon this topic. There are countless nba players that do things for the community and what have you.And frankly they should, they get millions of dollers from the fans attendance to games that they should give back to the community. And it's very nice to see players do these things.Especially after katrina guys like shaq, duhon, kobe, iverson, baron davis and so many others played a big part in the NBA cares Foundation.

Well in the book, Phil quoted Kobe a couple of times..I cant remember the exact quotes but some of them were pretty brutal with him using the F word alot.I remember one thing that Phil pointed out in his book. It was a part where Phil asked Kobe if he wanted to go for a jog with him, and Kobe said sure. Then Phil waited for like 30 minutes for Kobe but Kobe didn't show up. Kobe later said that he was being sarcastic, but since when should players be sarcastic to their coaches when they are suggesting something to him? Also, alot of times Kobe ignored what Phil was trying to say to him in alot of situations..

Add Chris Bosh on the list, he donated 1 million dollars to charity right after he resigned with the Raps.

I feel stupid not mentioning what Shaq has done for his home state and his foundations & whatnot.Besides, you htink Shaq wants to be a policeman for fun? I think he really cares about the community and is even willing to put his life on the line. That's major if you ask me.

Yeah, Bosh is a great kid. He was great in school too. He was really good in math I think. His parents rasied him really well. I'm glad that the Raptors dont really have any headcases..
