Very odd! Why would you bust your hump to get one of the best recruiting classes ever at Cal, only to bolt for UW? Wonder what Shaq, Ellis and Arik think about that?

K, here's the thing all three of the big recruits he brought to Cal said their relationship with Lupoi was a determining factor. So Lupoi was cleary talking to the puppies for a while, why wouldn't he wait to bring those three to the puppypound?

This makes no sense unless he plans to prove how good he is by getting a salary bump and bringing those three to UW.... They've not signed yet!

What do you want to bet? I'd love one of them, but I don't see it happening.

    What's the bet?

McCarthy is pure evil! He's the Suh the Ducks have been waiting for! We could only be so lucky! Let's just hope all three of the guys don't bolt for UW!

guesses... Shaq is a Bear, Armstead might flip to ND, Ellis might to SC. I'll actually be pretty surprised if any of these guys end up Ducks. Armstead is the only one who I've a small glimmer of hope for, I wonder if they're even calling the other two. Nonetheless, I do expect some on our board to melt down if these long shots don't happen

I won't melt down. But, Lupoi going to UW gives a bit of optimism.

BTW- Arik wants to play hoops and ND is actually not a bad program, the Ducks however need all the help they can get, which means he might get to play!

Poutasi is coming in for a surprise visit. JH says he will have more details. I checked the educk forums Targus, and DT had the story first.

Expect that this is one recruit that Oregon can flip.

I doubt Lupoi going to UW helps us in anyway, besides the fact that it hurts Cal.

My guess - Shaq to UW, Armsteads and Payton to Notre Dame. Aziz to Stanford. They keep everyone else.

It might help us out next year for Eddie Vanderdoes, who Cal was our biggest competition. Eddie is a monster.

EDIT: I see Stomp already had a guess post.
