I say the Jazz. Doug Collins always gets his teams to play hard, but the Jazz were looking pretty hapless very recently. And it's not like it's their rookies turning things around - Kanter's playing 14mpg and Burks 11mpg. I think Josh Howard is looking like an inspired pickup.
The jazz are 2 in the west! Thats crazy! And look at their upcoming schedule.... they are gonna win at least 3-5 more games in 2 weeks. Amazing that they are better then us!
I don't know that I would say they are "better" than the Blazers; they've had a pretty soft schedule so far.
Probably the Jazz. Many written them off completely. But I think its a bit misleading. They aren't playing a very tough schedule. Neither had the sixers. I bet in a couple weeks we will see the true team come out. If they are still winning, they maybe "For Real"; if they start losing and falling down the totem pole; then they will be playing to our expectations.
sometimes amazing things happen when a talented roster/superstar isnt a given and the focus comes back to playing team basketball and creating chemistry across the squad.
Yeah, who knew the teams trading away Melo and Deron would be significantly better then the teams acquiring them.
The Jazz by far. Philly was expeted to do well by many. But I still doubt the Jazz will make the playoffs. Their second half of the season is pretty tough.
http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-b...fense-because-shoot-180251017.html#more-13320 Doug Collins's strategy is to just give teams the long two pointer. So far, it's working.
