Just heard it on ESPN. He underwent minor surgery on his right knee and will be out 8-12 weeks. He will miss team USA training camp but will be healthy in time for the Lakers training camp!

I wonder why he had surgery?Whatever it was with his knee if appears to be minor according to realgm and like Nemesis said he will be healthy in time for Lakers Training Camp and will stay play with the Olympics although he will not practice with them this summer due to the knee surgery.I'm glad it's minor.http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/415...r_knee_surgery/

Knee is arguably the worst place for a basketball player to get injured. I hope he recovers in time to be 100% for training camp, and the pre-season. I'm glad it's a minor injury.

He will miss the World Championship this year though. That's both Kobe and Amare now. The team will still survive.

Yeah, for sure. LeBron and Wade have improved a lot since 04, and I'm sure they will carry the team.
