Yeah that was what I was thinking. I checked his scout profile today and the sidebar article was titled "mickens falls in love with oklahoma state" but still had us and UW as high interest only
to steal a line I saw on rivals, this UW vs Cal nastiness is like watching Iran and North Korea go at it. Heres a melt/break down link from jilted Cal Fan perspective on Toshgate. http://www.californiagoldenblogs.co...arkisian-california-golden-bears-jeff-tedford then there is the funny side of things https://twitter.com/#!/Toshs_Boat STOMP
Related to that, Lupoi deleted his Twitter account last night, but some of the stuff he was getting from Cal fans was hilarious.
http://oregon.scout.com/2/1150203.html Interview by Scout with Armstead. He quickly mentions Auburn, Cal and then mentions Oregon and ND as options. Says he wants to play defensive. Says its a lifetime opportunity to play with his brother, after he transfers. Says he's a 3-4 end.
Per ESPN's Greg Biggins, it looks like we're making a move on Shaq Thompson. He says Cal is now third for Shaq, and Oregon-UW are neck and neck. WOW, if we could land Armstead, Shaq, Thomas Johnson, and a couple other athletes, WOW.
saw this comment on Dawgman, although I have no way to confirm. http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=147&f=1361&t=8594434
I'm stealing this post from Brem22 on DT, "I don’t even know the guy and I’ve already quit my job and packing up my bags for Seattle. Tosh just connects with me on a level that makes everything else meaningless in comparison. I mean, I just wrote “Tosh” and now I’m reflexively unbuttoning my pants. At first I didn’t even realize I was doing it… But now I do, and I don’t care. Tosh would understand. Tosh understands me. DawgGang for Life.
If Shaq falls into our lap, I think the pieces might start falling. He was the lynchpin at Cal. His social networking and friendship with all these kids helped Cal land these guys. Just saying it could be a domino effect. Shaq is so good he might start as a freshman. A pairing of him and Daniels will be downright scary. Also, Allioti is visiting Shaq Thompson today.
This is a fun little article ranking the best recruiting classes in Oregon history. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ng-10-greatest-recruiting-classes-of-all-time Here's hoping this class exceeds them all! mj

It sounds like this kid really doesn't know what he wants to do. Also sounds like UW could become a player here. mj
If Arik wants to play with his brother they'll be SEC bound cause his brother will have to sit out a year in the Pac. Not a great sign for Ducks. As for Shaq, I think he's a Husky, but now you better really question what Tosh is promising these kids?
His brother is graduating from USC, and will be able to transfer to any school that offers a graduate degree that USC doesn't offer. He'll be immediately eligible, but I'm not sure if Pac-12 transfer rules supercede the NCAA rules.
