Starting tonight. I'm excited. I hate off nights. The Hawks and Thunder have had success in the back to back to backs. Hopefully, we can too. I will be at the fifth game. Am I crazy? Do we have a chance?

I just find it funny that somebody holds a grudge on people because of their income. It's just weird.

Actually I kinda' do. I'm very cool with some of these guys and for you to continually bitch that they should be doing this or not this because of their income is ridiculous. They are normal people who are tall. When I pulled up to the plane last Thursday and Felton rolled up next to me and parked his RollsRoyce, I didn't get all mad cause his car cost more then mine. Just move on and enjoy the game FAMS!

It's a perfectly fair statement - they're well compensated to go to work three nights in a row. The rest of us should be so lucky.

I don't care that they're beyond rich and are successful people in general

I just don't want to hear how "tough" they have it at times. Welcome to the rest of the world. Millions of people do far more work for far less money.

No one wants to hear it.

Really? I have never heard any of these guys complain. Other then occasionally saying how physically demanding the road is. Get over it, or go back to college to become a doctor or lawyer.

I'm excited to have all the games. I'm starting to like this season, its gives us more time to watch bench players who won't get as much burn in a normal season. I often have a game to watch at night on the DVR. I play dodgeball on Thursday nights and watch NFL on Sundays and with my Blazers games I've been able to have a game in something almost every night lately, its badass!

I think I'd wish they'd go to this format in all future seasons, we don't need the NBA in Nov/Dec, we have NFL and college football.

Wow your statements sound fucking bitter!

Nobody is saying they have a tough job or difficult lifestyle or anything, they are just pointing to the difficult stretches of the season from an athletes perspective. There are easy times and hard times during an NBA season and from an athletic performance perspective this is a tough time that will test players endurance and stamina.

You're obviously too close to the situation to be rational. Not surprising.

    That's fine

All I said was it was time to suck it up. I was then called out, so I responded.

    Pretty simple.

You sound like John Canzano...This is not a good thing.

I don't know what you do for a living, but I doubt that it's anywhere near as physically demanding as playing professional level basketball. No matter how much money you make and what kind of condition you're in, it takes time to recover from all-out physical effort. In this compressed season, the players aren't getting that recovery time. Couple that with the lockout-delayed start to the season and the shortened training camp and exhibition season, it's not surprising these guys are dog tired. As far as I can recall, while players have mentioned the fact that they're tired, I've never heard one of the Blazers say it was an excuse for a loss. Like playing on a sprained ankle, it's just a fact.

Nobody is holding a grudge against people due to their income. I get completely irritated to hear people complain about something they signed on for. Professional athletes know they are going to travel. Coaches do to, as do the media nerds. All I say is: stop crying.
