Where will he go? Who wants him? I haven't heard anything about this guy since after he was dismissed from the Portland Trail Blazers. I assume since he was dismissed from the team he won't be back to the team in the 06-07 season. I always enjoyed watching him play, he's shown flashes of being absolutely ridiculous. He's really athletic, an amazing dunker, and a pretty decent off the dribble player. He sucks at shooting but anyway where do you guys think he could fit in? I really have no clue who would take on this guy. On the court he's an ok player but off the court he's an absolute mess. Will this guy rebound on another team or will he just fade away because of his off the court issues?

I heard a rumor that in the huge trade (6-8 teams) he was going to be sent to Minnesota, but i'm sure it's not reliable. who knows?

He is only 24 still young. SF 6'9 wish he rebounded better, but I like this guy. <u>Last season PPG 14 | RPG 4.6 | APG 1.8</u> I would not mind him on the Sixers, but Billy King I don't think would take him if he did not take Artest. Artest is a great D guy, and can do everything score, rebound, assists, steals. So if he did not take Artest, because he though he would make trouble who is better then Miles. Then why would he take Miles. But like I said I would not mind having him on the Sixers. But then again we already have Iguodala who plays SF, and Carney. But yea like someone said maybe Minny would take him. I think they really are trying to do something to help KG before he starts to ask to be traded. Even though he is loyal, and he might not ask to be traded like AI has not asked for that.

Right now, the Blazers will trade him for anything. The strongest rumor has been Marco Jaric, but the slaries don't match up. Anyway, I think the Blazers would trade him to anyone, for anybody. So whoever wants him, which apparently is no one, can have him.

i know that he wants out of portland, and that portland wants him out of portland AND that he has a bad attitude but they could get more than marko jaric for him. He is 24 and a good basketball player so i think they should start looking for serious offers...

He has one of the lowest basketball IQ's I've seen from a modern day player. Add that to his common sense IQ seemingly being low too.If I were the Sixers I wouldn't want him. To me they are a team full of low b-ball IQ players.I think JVG would eventually kill Miles in Houston. A team will take him just because he is a great athlete, but man he doesn't seem to get any of it.

He has what it takes to be a gerald wallace type defender.

It might hinder his decision making off the court but having a low IQ doesnt make you play the game different. Why dont u just go ask vince young what he thinks about having a low IQ.

isiah thomas is probably interested. :lol:but seriously, he could end up being a decent player. If he can get his attitude under control, and start working hard and mature, he could be good for 18-20 ppg on a daily basis for a while. Remember, before his knee injury he was averaging 18 ppg.

He has a world of talent, but he doesn't know how to play the game properly. So far he has just gotten by on his athleticism.

He also hasn't been what you say a modern citizen on the teams he's been on. He has a ego to boot with his low basketball IQ and that's just a bad mixture. I don't know if he will become the player he can be, but right now I wouldn't gamble on him. Teams should be weary bringing in someone who might disrupt any chemistry or cohesion their team has.

The guy has been in the league 7 years and people still talk about his potential. He is what he is. He headaches he causes isn't worth the production he gives.

Like I said, If you want him, the Blazers will give him to you. All you need is someone to match salaries. If the Blazers turn down any offer for him it would be foolish. Darius Miles COULD be great, but there is a huge problem. He doesn't like or want to play basketball. He's said it. He just wants to collect his paycheck and put forth the least amount of effort possible. Every once in a while he wows you, puts up 50 or throws down a monstrous dunk, and it gets teams hooked on his potential. He's mastered the craft, he is the most decieving player in basketball.

There are a lot of could bes in the NBA, but Miles could be's have long passed. You can have him (on the Lakers) if you want. It will just make the team weaker.I'll add, he couldn't even get along with Mo Cheeks. Probably one of the most likeable coaches in NBA history. Again he just doesn't get it.

I don't think Billy King would want him, but I was saying I would not mind having him. But yea he can be a problem so not to sure. If he was as good in basketball as TO is in football I would not care what else he did as long as he played on the court. But since he is not a super star I don't know if there is a point to have someone on your team who would make trouble. Also like someone said they would like to have him on the Lakers I agree that can be a pretty good fit actually. Who knows maybe then Kobe can get that team to the 2nd round of the playoffs. And that be great because that team pretty much sucks so it would all be thank's to Kobe.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pistonfan11 @ Jul 17 2006, 01:14 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Sounds like a New York Knick in the making.</div> :HAHAHA: All I have to say is priceless

Darius Miles was averaging 18/6 before his injury last season, who knows what would have happened if he didn't get hurt, we might be talking about him in a different light...the guy is such a moron.
