    Nick Nolte has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the MMA film Warrior. Nolte played Paddy Conlon in the film, father to warring brothers Tommy (Tom Hardy) and Brendan (Joel Edgerton). Nolte was especially convincing as an alcoholic former boxer who trains his youngest son to fight, sending him into an unavoidable confrontation with his brother.

    I don't think he has much of a chance, but he was fantastic in the movie none the less.
