What are the sorriest teams in the NBA right now?
It's worth noting that a few teams have fairly decisively left their ranks: in the East, Philly and Indiana. In the West, Minny and the Clippers. So it is possible. But right now, these teams are just depressing:
    Charlotte
What was the score at halftime last night? Against WASHINGTON? Wasn't it around 20ish? Cho gets to prove that he can do a rebuild job.

    New Orleans
They held out for the Minny pick and Gordon. Now Minny's playing really well, and Gordon didn't sign an extension. When Jarrett Jack is your star, you suck bad. Poor Monty.

    Phoenix
Old AND bad. And not even fun to watch any more. At least they beat us soundly.

    Sacramento
That "fired-coach-bump" didn't last long, did it? And they're not even likeable. Jimmermania is fizzling fast.

Other candidates? I would say the Knicks, but they have pieces, and they'll always be a coveted destination.

I'll add Detroit. I like Monroe a lot, so hesitate because of him to put them on here. But I think Dumars is terrible, and has been for quite a while now. They have 60 million in salaries locked into that team next season. That's bad. Should have traded Prince last season. Instead they lock him up for 4 more years. Brilliant!

Good call - they are indeed a sad lot. They may have lucked out a bit with Brandon Knight, but it's too soon to tell. He's looking a bit like another Stuckey - not good enough at the point and not efficient enough a scorer. Yes, the longer Dumars hangs on, the more it looks like he was just lucky with the championship team.

OKC b/c they lost out on the #1 pick in the best draft ever and had to settle on a dime-a-dozen scoring wing while a sure-fire HOF C only comes around once a generation. And now that SF they settled for doesn't seem to get along with his PG, both of which are locked up for a long time for a lot of money. Oh, oh and their third best player can't even crack the starting lineup and has to come off the bench! It's a shit-storm of sorry that's just waiting to explode over there in OKC. I feel sorry for their fan base - they just don't know how much trouble they're in!

Thx. Pretty much the only thing I've learned in my time here is that anything - even positive stuff - can be turned in to a negative. I think I'm a better person for acquiring that skill.
