<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>BOWIE, Md. - Allen Iverson showed up for his annual celebrity softball game wearing his customary No. 3, although the number was on the throwback Atlanta Braves jersey of Dale Murphy.Atlanta? Was there anything to be read into Iverson's choice of uniform?"I don't know," Iverson said last night, before joining rapper Nelly and a celebrity roster to play before a capacity crowd at Prince George's Stadium. "God works in mysterious ways so whatever happens, happens."The Atlanta Hawks are among the list of teams rumored to be interested in Iverson if the 76ers elect to trade him, as are the Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets and others.Fans at the softball game, which raises money for underprivileged children, told Iverson they loved him, whatever happens."Just people saying they're fans forever ... and if I change teams or whatever, that's the team they're going to root for. That just makes me feel good," he said. "But, hopefully, nothing like that happens."Iverson even talked basketball."We were in a lot of games, but then at the end, we couldn't stop anybody," he said. "Me and Chris [Webber] did a lot of scoring and our team did a lot of scoring, but we couldn't stop anybody. That's how you win championships, getting stops."And I think we've got to get a lot more from our bench. We had the worst scoring average [in the NBA] coming off the bench, so we've got to get somebody to give us another spark."</div>Source

He's too small for a Big Papi Jersey. I don't see him in Atlanta though.

Dude it doesn't mean anything. People are getting so anxious to know where AI will go they are think the stupidest things are signs.

OMG people need to relax. He had a Yankees hat on does that mean he is going to the Knicks, or the NJ Net's? NOO probably not even though anything is possible. After a game one time AI had worn a Celtics Jersey to a press conference. Just because someone wears something does not mean anything. You like it you wear it. It does not have to mean anything.haha or maybe he is going to retire, and play for the Yankees now since he had a Yankees hat on. :HAHAHA: Actually Howard Eskins here on NBC after the news when they had sports he thought AI was going to be traded for sure. Now he is thinking unless some better offers start coming along there is a chance AI might stay now, and they will try to trade him in the up coming season before the trade deadline instead of now. If they won't get any better offers then they have been getting.

Isn't Iverson currently living in the ATL for the offseason? If anything that could be considered a sign but it's not and this isn't either.

The thing about trade rumors is that the most ridiculous rumors start getting circulated...I can't believe this made was made into an article...I mean come on.Although, to be fair, I think something should be done, i.e. actually trade him and get it over with. These rumors have been since last season, and they won't stop until he's actually traded.

The rumors have been there ever since he came into the league. The Sixers go through this every single year, it's just that this time it looks like Billy King will actually pull the trigger if he gets an offer he likes... that's something that King wouldn't have done in the past.

I like how Philly fans are getting so upset about this kind of stuff....haha. But they are right, it really doesnt mean anything at all. Especially when it is about baseball

Wow, a black guy with a sports jersey on.. interesting. This mean's nothing really, I mean come on, so what if he's wearing a Braves jersey? You telling me NBA players don't own jerseys/hats of teams that aren't in their team's city?

I am talking about how a basketball player wearing a baseball sign has nothing to do with him wanting to go to Atlanta. Your stupid
