Re: Gooden S&T is a possibilty. they can get offense from jefferson, powe and gomes.they should keep Ratliff so 1. Jefferson can stay a PF and 2. Help out Perk b/c hes defensive minded as well.
Re: Gooden S&T is a possibilty. i agree theo is a great mentor to have, but he's rarely healthy, and a guy like Gooden would be a good double-double threat to have. It's just, why do these guys have to want West?
Re: Gooden S&T is a possibilty. Because they still need a true PG like Delonte West. Eric Snow can still be effective, but he's bench material. He reminds me of Kevin Ollie, a bit. They also drafted Daniel Gibson to play the point, but they still need a legitimate starting PG. Damon Jones is a SG, he's their shooter off the bench.
Re: Gooden S&T is a possibilty. I am still unsure about this. I guess it would help with the logjam in the back court, just not in a way I would prefer. I think if Gooden was more of a 5 I would like to see it more. He is a proven post player though, he has a decent midrange shot aswell. Damon Jones is very moveable too though. I say I am still about 75% on this, in favor though. Would be interesting. This would be great for the Cavs though! West and James would be a sick duo, and the Cavs need a backup 5 very badly.
Re: Gooden S&T is a possibilty. My take - I would absolutely LOVE Drew Gooden in a Celtics uniform. One problem - DELONTE???? No. No. No. End of discussion. I also read on CelticsBlog that it could be either Delonte, Theo, or Gomes (combo of 2 of those guys). Delonte or Gomes? Eh.. no thanks.
