Better yet, why are we trading our future for a guy who isn't enough to get us over the hump?

Well I will say, Nash gives us a much better chance; even 60% from his old all-star form.

    Seasons Ticket Holder with perspective...

....the perspective to not speak in absolutes 18 games into a shortened season, devote of much training camp, with 6 new players on the roster. The knowledge to know that constant change is not a recipe for success.

That too. I'm not giving up a pick for Nash. Not giving up Batum for Nash. I'd do felton and a smaller piece. And they can likely get more. So be it. I don't see a reason to break the bank when, a month later, Camby's knee is going to give out, and we're SOL anyways.

Better chance at what? Nash couldn't get to the finals when he was young and and MVP.

The only similarity is that both are Energy Bunnies and never stop running. Ridnour looks perpetually exhausted and worried. I expect him to have a heart attack on the floor. Nash has a little smile and looks like he'll last another 15 years at this pace.

Well, there's one other similarity. Nash is from Victoria, BC, and Ridnour is from Blaine, WA. About 15 miles apart, if you take a ferry over the water. Bunch of rubes up in that neck of the woods.
