reminder: green energy jobs + road construction is the future and how to get america moving again. :MARIS61:

Its scary. Home sales last year are the worst since the 1960s. And this is after the interest rates are at CONTINUED historical lows. Meanwhile, the country continues to pile on debt at a rapid pace. Whomever is the president for the next four years is going to have to oversee this disaster that is looming.

The question you have to ask yourself, is who is best prepared to guide America for the impending debt crisis. I love Newt's swagger, but as far as experience in these matters, I'd have to go with Romney.

I just LOL'd so hard that you made me spit up my chocolate milk through my nose. I licked it off the keyboard.

Now, if you had a goat, it would lick the keyboard for you. At times, goats can be much more handy than fancy sports cars.

Youthful looks will decide the election. Romney and Gingrich seem old enough to be Obama's grandfather.

That's pretty silly. Nothing, and tax cuts, is what got us INTO this mess. It was called the Bush administration, if you've forgotten.

Government is not 25% bigger. That's absurd. Go ahead and provide a link for that. I'll wait. Well, actually, I won't wait, but I might come back later to notice your admission that that was a big lie that you said right there.

Last year. After the Packers / Bills game, Buffalo released quarterback Trent Edwards.

During the Packers / Eagles game, the Packers injured Philadelphia quarterback Kevin Kolb.
Philadelphia then had to play backup quarterback Michael Vick.

During a playoff game against the Eagles, the Packers injured Michael Vick and another
    backup was needed.

After the Packers / Cowboys game, Dallas fired Wade Phillips and most of his staff.

After the Packers / Vikings game, Minnesota fired Brad Childress and most of his staff.

Four weeks after losing to the Packers, the 49er’s coach Mike Singletary
and most of his staff were fired and replaced.

During the Bears Playoff game, the Packers injured Jay Cutler and backup
Todd Collins forcing the Bears to go with 3rd string quarterback Caleb Hanie

    After all the information above:

Here’s the question. Is it just me, or did the Packers create more jobs
    last year than Obama?

It's just you. The rest of us understand that replacing employees is not job creation.

What you wrote is silly partisan spin. Govt. pushing banks to loan to unqualified buyers got us into this mess.

By several measures, govt. is 25% bigger. Bush's last budget was $3T in spending, the current budget is $3.8T.

The federal debt is over $16T. It was $11T when Obama took office.

Uncle Sam: $407 billion in the hole

    (it's 3x higher now)

    http://www.gpoaccess.gov/usbudget/fy11/pdf/hist.pdf

    See page 29.

    Govt. spending as % of GDP was 19.6% in 2007, 25.1% in 2011 (that's a 25% increase).

Oh dear. Those enormous tax cuts that, when signed by Bush, that were estimated at a revenue decline of $170 billion per year? Those are the cause of the ~$1.5 TRILLION per year deficits?

You have a lot of reading up to do. Clearly you weren't doing so in your absence.

He promised to cut the $1.6T deficit in half by 2011. People ate it up. He hasn't cut the deficit in half, and it sure wasn't republicans blocking that agenda.

He said several times that he was going to focus on job creation. The next day after saying it, he'd go on vacation.

Doesn't make a lot of sense really. I a tidally thought he would at least try to take the Clinton approach when he had all the house and senate backing him. Personally, I think he dug himself into a deep ass hole. It sucks he may get another term in office.

Pretty clear Americans approve of Obama's stated goals and the programs he has proposed.

It would appear most previous unfavorable opinions were drawn from media lies and intentional distortions by the right and once Obama set the record straight they overwhelmingly support him.

This year, 82 percent of those who watched the speech said they approve of the president's plans for the economy, up from 53 percent who approved before the speech. Eighty percent said they approved of Mr. Obama's plans for the deficit -- in contrast to 45 percent before the speech. Eighty-three percent approved of Mr. Obama's proposals regarding Afghanistan, which received only a 57 percent approval rating beforehand.

Mitt Romney (and his owners on Wall Street) made their fortunes by creating the housing crisis and by prolonging it.

The fox ate your chickens and now you want to hand over the entire farm to him.

It would be easier and less painful for you to just shoot yourself and get it over with.
