Is this list on who is the best true pg or which pg has the most talent as a basketball player? I need to know because my list is way different for both and I don't want to bother typing out both.

Well Andre Miller at least deserves a honorable mention if not better. He is better then Jamaal Tinsley and I'm not sure it is close right now. I could argue with a few others too, but I won't.

AI at no. 1? I dont know about that. He's a SG, but he can make plays. Nash and Kidd still should be over him. Nash goes first, Kidd second, and then AI at third. Switch Gil with Chauncey, same sitation with AI. Switch Davis with Cassell. Sam Cassell in my mind defines what a true point guard should be. He helped turn around that Clippers team, and taking them to the playoffs since the early '90s, I believe. Luke Ridnour and TJ Ford should be on the honorable mention list. They're only going to get better.

I forgot TJ Ford, yeah him too.I don't know, Allen Iverson plays point guard, but he is a true shooting guard. But, I said the same thing about Shawn Marion, but flip flopped. Marion plays PF, but is a SF. It's hard to say who's who. But this isn't who is the best pass first point guard. It's who is the best point guard, pass or shoot first. I see Iverson as a better player than Nash or J-Kidd. Same with Arenas and Billups. Arenas is the better player, but Billups is the better point guard.

Kevin Ollie and Louis Williams is all they have, and they are definitely not starter material. Marion only played PF for the Suns this year because Amare was out. Also, so you're just rating players who play the PG position, shoot first or pass first? Being the point guard is all about running the team, setting up plays for your teamates. There are players in the NBA who are forced to play the PG positon because of the lack of depth at the PG spot or because they're too "small" to play SG.Lets face it, Allen Iverson and Gilbert Arenas are not point guards, despite what the situations are.

Just because he isn't flashy.)

Who are you to say they aren't point guards? It's just like football. Is Michael Vick really a quarterback? Well, yes. Some systems require you to have a pass first point guard (Phoenix). However, you can design your offense and your attack around a point guard who dominates the ball and takes a lot of shots. It's similar to football and the evolution of the quarterback spot. Gilbert Arenas and Allen Iverson are just as much point guards as Steve Nash and Jason Kidd, they just have a different style.

Putting Terry over Bibby was a very tough decision for me. Marbury is still extremely talented and very deadly to have on your team. Sure, his personality leaves a lot to be desired but talent wise the guy can flat out play. He is so quick and strong and if you combine that with his amazing skill set and range you have yourself a deadly offensive weapon.

Marbury is great, but can't be a winning point guard. That's one factor I took into this. He's very durable, and he can score and play, but he can find victory.

I know Kidd is older, but AI is not even a true PG still puts same assists pretty much as AI last season, and AI got him in point by alot.6. Cassell7. Bibby8. Hinrich9. Parker10. Starbury
