Dirk is the second best PF...KG has great talent, but he has yet proved anything to me besides when he has alot of talent on that team.Yeah he has an MVP...but it was in that season where they got the 1 seed, and he had a great team.
I still think KG is better than Dirk. I guess I'll be the guy that says "If KG had the same supporting staff as Dirk, then he'd go to the finals too."

What has Dirk proven so far? Hes made the finals which he played sub-par and lost 4 straight? Until Dirk wins an MVP KG > Dirk.

Even in the 2003-2004 WCF run the Mavericks were still the more talented team. Garnett did more with nothing. Garnett's teams often overachieved meanwhile Dirk's always underachieved.
Nice list, I pretty much agree with everything. Troy Murphy could be added the honorable mentions list.
Wow. Pau 10th? He deserves it over Rasheed Wallace atleast. He doesnt score alot because he plays for a pass-first/depth team like the Grizzlies. They dont allow anyone to be a star player there. But he is one of the best passing big men in the league. He is a GREAT shotblocker and is a good rebounder too. He shoots a high percentage and is a good shooter for a big man. He can also score downlow..And his defense IS improving..He is not a solid defensive player..
I could back up Sheed with most of those details too.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>But he is one of the best passing big men in the league. He shoots a high percentage besides his three, that goes down a lot anyway. Sheed scores down low, and is already a great defensive player.Sheed has a title too.

They didn't put a good balanced team together until last year, and that's win, obviously, they made their Finals run.Dirk would put up great numbers on that Minnesota team, just like KG, maybe average even more PPG than he does now, because he would really be the ONLY option.KG needs to prove he can be a leader, and a the focal point of a team, before he can be above TD, Dirk, or at this point, even Brand.
Um...Timberwolves are in the same conference as the Mavericks pal. What I'm saying is this:Dirk's teams have always been one of the top 3 talented teams in the league. The Mavericks have always had a great coaching staff and a lot of good players. However, they always came up short in the playoffs. If you are going to attack Garnett for not getting far into the postseason with an inferior roster then you should do the same to Dirk who had a much more potent roster. The fact that Dirk has never made the NBA Finals with the talent he has had should be questioned if you are going to question Garnett's postseason success.

Gasol is not that great of a rebounder for his height, and he's a good shooter but he is not good at defense and can not score against taller defenders down-low.I mean, Wallace brings leadership, tenacity, scoring ability from anywhere, defense, rebounding passing, stealing, and heart. Rasheed Wallace is officially, as of the departure of Ben Wallace, the heart of the Detroit Pistons basketball squad. What is Pau Gasol? like you said they dont allow anyone to be a star in memphis.my list:1. Tim Duncan2. Kevin Garnett/Dirk Nowitzki3. Dirk Nowitzki/Kevin Garnett4. Jermaine O'Neal5. Elton Brand6. Shawn Marion7. Rasheed Wallace8. Dwight Howard9. Chris Bosh10. Pau GasolI really can not decide between Dirk or KG. KG had a golden season in 2004 and Nowitzki had his in 06.
