My wife just saw one driving down I84, which has got to be a very rare sight to see in the Portland area. I've only seen one in person and that was on Rodeo Dr.

I heard of one being spotted along the Oregon coast, but I question whether most people can tell the Veyron apart from an Audi R8 at a quick glance.

Come on, dude. You really think any Blazer would let HCP get that close to their car, and risk that he could hotwire and steal it? You've never been to LA (or anywhere in SoCal), apparently. They be jackin' fools!

Reminds me of a ZBO story...... on our way out of town on a trip and ZBO had just bought this old school pimped out early 70's Caprice Classic. They delivered it to the FlightCraft parking lot where our plane is. Straight ThugLife in the parking lot, vibrating trunk from the gangsta' beats! I park and as I walk by he yells, "YO, come check out my new whip!" I admit it was dope, but when Maurice Cheeks walked by, he couldn't help but shake his head and laugh! ZBO handed the guy a stack of cash and hopped on the plane. Oh.... those were the days.

Bugatti, Maseratti, whatever. I always think dude has to be a pro athlete whenever I spot anything nicer than a Jag/BMW level ride. Cuz I stereotype like that.

The only cars of that caliber would belong to either Ron Tonkin or Paige Stevens in this area. Those two men have absurd cars. Athletes are limited in the sweet cars they can buy because most of them aren't built with large people in mind. That would kind of suck to have all that money and no way of fitting comfortably in some of the cars I would buy.

Who is Stevens? Monte Shelton lives right around the corner from us. Always has new rides.

Maserati's arent that rare. I see some around town at least once a month or so.
I know a guy who has a Maserati. Lives in the east Vancouver/Camas area.
I think Brandon Roy has a blue Maserati.

The guy who parks his f50 or 599 outside of the LO startbucks next to the guy with the murcielago would probably love to debate with you who in the area can afford what car. I am pretty sure they laugh when the guy in the r8 tries to park in their row. They both have several, I have seen them color coordinate before. Depending on the year a Veyron can be as cheap as 1.5 which isnt a lot to some of these folks.

Money aside, my favorite car was Pendergraphs, though it pales in comparison to the stickers on some of those cars at the Tonklin GT lot.

Yeah, I was so excited when I got my new focus, the monthly payment on a Veyron is more than the total payment on my car, in fact you could buy almost 3 for that price lol.

I don't know the Lambo guy but the Starbucks Ferrari guy is Marty. He always has a couple nice Ferrari's in his garage but never anything absurd like Tonkin or Stevens. He used to be pretty outgoing and willing to talk cars but lately he's been somewhat crotchety.

He probably didn't get into the new Ferrari Collector's club that you need over 5 to join, giving you the new limited edition models, that sure would make me sour!
