VANCOUVER, British Columbia - CONCACAF's berths in the women's Olympic field are settled. That doesn't mean everything is.

Cross-border bragging rights and an intra-confederation rivalry still have to be determined, which the United States and Canada will resolve Sunday to finish the CONCACAF Olympic women's qualifying tournament.

It's USA vs. Canada," Herdman said. "It's a derby. I've been in them. New Zealand vs. Australia. England vs. Scotland. Canada vs. America. It's one of the all-time derbies. I know Canadians are going to turn up.

The US and Canadian women’s national teams were both already bound for the London Olympics when they kicked off on Sunday night in Vancouver, but they still had some continental bragging rights to decide.

The Americans took that honor in decisive fashion, getting two goals each from strikers Alex Morgan and Abby Wambach en route to a decisive 4-0 win over Canada in the final of CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying at BC Place.
