Congrats on getting Arik. It never seemed like UW was really in it for him. I figured he'd stick with Cal, so I was wrong there. Shaq always seemed more likely to come to Seattle, but if that tweet above is right, he could be headed to Eugene as well.
hadnt seen that. Color me skeptical though lol. Shaq taking a 2nd trip to UW just seems to refute that IMO.

To fans of other schools that read our board..... If you asked Oregon fans if we thought we had a real shot with Arik, I think the honest response would have been..... We'd love to get him, but it's a long shot! I was sold on the fact he'd be in the SEC or Cal too. This is Xmas for Duck fans who know we need size on our Dline! That said, I"m as happy as a starving man on Thanksgiving for this kid to be a Duck!

One thing to keep in the back of ya'lls minds.... Shaq's parents pushed him towards the Ducks and now AA on board it might be the tipping point. UW may have Tosh but what are Shaqs real chances of winning anything special for many year to come there? With the Ducks he's in a top 5 program gunning for a national championship for the next few years! UW can't offer that!

likely headed is different then committed, which is why I'd guess the JH tweet was the one being referred to btw... who is rivalsmike? Mike Farrell? STOMP
I'm not sure. Somebody else made that assumption on DT so I thought that as well. JH responds to it directly, "I found it slightly comical, but I can assure you my information on that matter is rock solid. It shows you how torn this kid is, or maybe he doesn't understand the significance of giving someone your word."
