If you need a good laugh, this should do it. Diop makes Chris Dudley look like a dead-eye from the line!
You should be kicked out of the NBA if you airball a free throw! Easiest shot in the game except a clear path break away lay up.
You disagree? Nobody is guarding you and its a shot you practice (at least you should!) over and over since first starting organized hoops. Even I can hit 80-90% from the charity stripe and I only play hoops once or twice a week.
I don't at all disagree. Just can't help but wonder why other posters get to make claims like this with no one batting an eye lash, but if other posters do they get attacked?
90% in a game? A full court against tough oponents? I very much doubt it. Lots of nba players hit high percentages in shoot around too.
Against opponents at my same skill level... yes. Obviously it would be more difficult if I was in a full arena with fans etc... but those guys practice A LOT more and are used to it. They also get paid millions, they should have some pride and put in the time to be a solid FT shooter. There is no excuse for an NBA player to shoot anything less than 75% from the FT line. 85% should be more of the norm, not top in the league.
Because what goes around comes around. Posters who constantly act like idiots get treated like idiots. What's the big fucking mystery about that? Seriously, this is a sports chat forum, not group therapy. If you feel so strongly that the OP overstated his claim, post your opinion and back it up with some evidence. I mean really, that was one pretty weak FT attempt. But at least his teammates all still gave him the obligatory FT hand slap even when it was a full 3 feet short of hitting the front of the rim. Maybe you just need a FT hand slap to help cheer you up. BNM
