    Nice catch guys!

PORTLAND -- Portland police have made an arrest in the 1980 murder of a Plaid Pantry employee who was shot after an armed robbery near the Portland State University campus.

The renewed investigation by a bureau cold case unit led to the arrest of Antonio Igisomar Wabol, now 52, who was indicted Wednesday on aggravated murder charges.

The Plaid Pantry employee, 29-year-old Myong Su Cho, also was a student at PSU, said Lt. Robert King.

After the robbery at 950 SW Mill St., Cho was shot and killed a few blocks away.

The arrest came after retired detective Dennis Baker re-opened the case. King did not specify what evidence led to the arrest.

Baker is part of the Portland Police Bureau's Cold Case Homicide Unit, comprised of a sergeant and four detectives who get help from retired investigators. The group -- whose motto is, 'We don't give up. We never give up" - is funded by a federal grant.

I was the witness and provided the sketch drawing to the police back then. I've met with both cold case detectives and may testify to the grand jury. There are other things that I can't state here.

I learned two things about you! You witnessed a murder? This may have emotionally warped you. And you can draw, too!

I know quite a bit about drawing because not only did I watch hundreds of hours of half-hour cowboy programs, I also can still sing the opening jingle for Quick-Draw McGraw, and often do.

Mighty Mouse was to Quick-Draw McGraw as a Rembrandt is to the Apple logo. Can't you even tell a Heckle from a Jeckle? I can't find the Quick Draw version used on TV, so Maris found the best version on the internet, stretched out from the short cartoon show version.

    Yippee yi-o-ki-a,
    Galloping all the way
    Here comes Quick Draw McGraw.
    The high-falutin'est,
    Fastest shootin'est,
    Cowboy you ever saw.

Is this why they have been looking for someone that resembles a stick figure this entire time?

Those days are still here, and experiencing a revival.

    from wiki:

In the 21st century, a renewed interest in vinyl has occurred and the demand for the medium has been on a steady increase yearly in niche markets, though most modern listeners still prefer compact discs or music downloads.

I still buy vinyl all the time. I buy some songs of itunes, but if I'm going to get a full album I usually buy vinyl. I think I have 5 or 6 crates right now.

That is part of it, but these days a lot of djs use Serato, a program where you use regular tables, but the mixer and "vinyl" are hooked up to your laptop. You can get most releases on vinyl these days. I think the most recent records I've purchased have been Spoon, Black Keys and Sharon Jones (so not hip hop).

Yeah, only old fuckers think that vinyl is for DJ's... welcome to the early 00's, ABM! We were wondering when you'd come along! Just about every release has a vinyl, CD, and MP3 release simultaneously. Even my cheesedick metal albums. :D

I am wondering now if the Portland Cold Case unit has less funding now because of the Aaron Campbell 1.2 million lawsuit that was awarded to Campbell's family.
