I like Nash. 8 years ago. Not sure giving up two youngins plus a pick is worth 40 games of Steve Nash. Not that Nolan or Williams WILL be something great, but they could be. And we know what Nash is NOW. Horrible defender and losing his advantage on offense quickly.
agree, Nash is a waste of time and talent unless they gave him to us very cheap and there is no chance of that
Getting caught up in trying to salvage this clusterfuck of a season at all costs is exactly the kind of thinking I hope Paul Allen (and whomever the hell is making personnel decisions) avoids.
Not necessarily salvaging. If the pieces are Felton and e will for Nash, then I'm all for it. Wallace and Felton are all likely gone anyways.
Matthews and Felton for Nash I would do this one. At least Phoenix will have a player "Wes Matthews" that they can keep for 2 more years guaranteed. And if they keep on losing; they would have a great shot in getting a marquee PG in the strong draft this summer. Why it would be good on our end. We could start Nic or Crawford at SG, E. Will will probably get more burn and Nash will definitely open the paint for Aldridge down low.

There are no "marquee" point guards in this year's draft. This is going to be one of those semi-rare "big men" drafts.
Ahhh okay; well then maybe use the pick to get a marquee PG? Or maybe get the big and try and re-sign Felton for less?

LOL at people who want to give up young potential to rent Nash for 25 games + playoffs on a team that wont win a championship with him. I think Nash will retire after this season.
Not if we go far in the playoffs. What if Oden actually returns too? The team would be contenders easily with just Oden being a defensive anchor.
I think if Oden actually does play, and that's a big if...he's much more likely to be a foul prone garbage time player than a rotation guy, let alone an impact player....
Batum scares me. I actually think he will be really good. He's starting to have that fire in his play. Something I used to always complain about in the past. I would much rather give them Felton and Matthews for Nash. Then if there was a "wink wink" for Hill; I would do that as well.
what do I think? Slow news day and he made this up and it's pure pure unaldulterated BS and will not happen. Makes no sense to give up Nic for a 40-day Nash rental..
No way i give up mathews to get nash. Felton and either a protected pick/euro or felton and some kind of babbit/johnson/johnson combo. I dont want to overpay for an ancient pg when i dont think he would take us to the finals Sent from my LS670 using Tapatalk
