That seems reasonable to me. Starting lineups for the Ducks are (except for QB and the kickers and maybe the DBs) not really that important, given the amount of substitutions that happen.

I expect Long to push for a starting job on the OL and I think that Vaughn and Blackmon will both be ahead of Sumler on the WR playcount.

Wallace might push for a starting spot at LB, and I think there's a good chance that Reggie Daniels redshirts.

It'll be fun to see how it shakes out, huh?

You think Bennett is the lock for QB1?

I don't think Armstead is going to start at DE.

Who starts then?.. We are thin on returning DE. And Armstead will be enrolling in march to be there for Spring Camp. I don't see Wallace getting a starting spot over 3 Rose Bowl winning LB's that have 2 years of experience. (Lokombo, Clay, and Alonso all played quite a bit sophomore years), however I do agree that he will get significant playing time. I was not thinking when I put my Rov. Avery Patterson could fit that role, he's a bit smaller than Pleasant, but a pretty good hitter. I will say that Reggie Daniels highlights indicate he's a great player, hard hitter, and plays good coverage. Someone on the ESPN forum said Ifo Ekpre-Olomu will see some playing time as well.
Also Dior Mathis, a highly touted recruit from michigan, could be seeing a good deal of playing time maybe even push for a starting spot over hill or mitchell.

Yes. I think his arm will get better. He's got some starting experience. And if History speaks for itself.. ('09 when Masoli getting it over Thomas after Thomas' amazing 4th Quarter against Boise and this year Thomas keeping it over Bennett last year when so many wanted to see Bennett get some snaps)Bennett will get it over Mariota. Unless Mariota really out does Bennett in spring camp (which I don't think he will do).. I think Bennett is a lock for now.

And Ed O. I agree. Again wasn't thinking, I think BJ Kelley will get the starting spot over Sumler, Vaughn, Blackmon as the season progresses. Also, I forgot Lyerla at TE.

Ahhhh, its so nice to have Clay and Boyett returning on defense. They are the straw that stirs the drink.

I'm actually really looking forward to Alonso and seeing if he can build on what he did in the Rose Bowl.

Tony Washington is probably the guy with the inside track. Next year will be his 3rd with the program.

I keep relaying this link, but I think it does a pretty good job of letting people see the depth chart

Arik may be a True Freshman, we need some guys on D.

As for QB, it's entirely up in the air, although due to experience, Bennett gets an edge, although he's not as quick as Mariota on the ground
