I think Yao Ming could be underrated, after all the overrated marks on him. He could be the best center in the league, definately best in the west right now.Chris Kaman is pretty underrated too.
Chris Kaman, Shawn Marion, Mo Peterson, Elton Brand, Andre Miller. Thats all I can think of right now. I had to include atleast 1 Raptor
Marion and Brand aren't underrated anymore, Marion WAS underrated a few years back but now everyone knows who he is. Brand was an MVP candidate this season, I don't see how thats underrated.

Tough choice but I think Tony Parker is the most underrated. He pretty much carried the spurs through all their injuries to the second best record in the league.
Antawn Jamison is more overrated than underrated. Bobby Simmons is a good player to add in this topic. He doesn't get much credit, even though he did get MIP a while back.

If you just include reasons, I would understand. But I disagree with you, anyways. He's a veteran, provides so much leadership for this team, and he helped Eddie Jordan and the management turn the Wizards into a playoff contender. He's 30 years old and he's still capable of giving you a double-double. Nobody talks about this guy, along with Caron Butler. Dixon is a good one to add, too.
Well, I've never seen this kind of thread before. I think Andre Miller and Gerald Wallace are two very underrated players. How many players know that Gerald Wallace had 2 blocks and 2 steals this year? That has been done only twice before -- David Robinson and someone else, I forget who. That's impressive, yet no one thinks twice about it.

The guy is 6'6" 235 pounds and rarely uses his strength to his advantage.
Sam Cassell, he's brought success to just about every team he played withVERY underrated at the PG position and he knows how to run the floor with the best of them

As far as stars go, NOBODY talks about Paul Pierce. Nobody. He has been an All-Star 5 consecutive years and put up 27/7/4 last year, and they don't talk about him at all. If T-Mac signs a 3-year extension, it would be all over the news for a week. Pierce does, it gets a small section on RealGM and you see it on ESPN bottom line. Call this a biased pick, I don't care, this guy gets zero credit for everything he's accomplished throughout his career, and it really pisses me off. I mean ok I understand we won 33 games, but you never hear anything about him at all unless it's in the Boston media. But AK47 is extremely underrated. That guy does everything on the floor. So he's not the most coordinated guy with the basketball, and not a very crafty scorer, but that man does everything on both ends of the floor. He can score 15+ a night, he can rebound, he's a good passer, he's an EXCELLENT defensive player especially shot blocking, and he can play multiple positions. I love Kirilenko and I can't stand how underrated he is.

But the fact of the matter is, Allen Iverson didn't make the playoffs either, and he gets all the attention in the world. Pierce gets none.
