The Los Angeles Kings came out of their eight-day break fresh and focused. They needed every last bit of attention, too, against the NHL's worst team.

Drew Doughty scored a power-play goal with 1 second remaining in the game, lifting the Kings to a 3-2 victory over the last-place Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday night.
