There's talent on this team, but Nate has no fucking clue what to do with it. Brandon Roy isn't out there anymore to mask Nate's bullshit. The team has tuned him out. The road is where a coach fires up a team to gut through and win games they should. There's none of that now. Nate has to fucking go, and now.
The talent level on this team really isn't that hot. LaMarcus is great and then after that ... I dunno? EDIT: But yeah, fire nate for sure. I'm cool with that.
One thing I can always count on is chris_in_pdx being levelheaded, and not flying off the handle like an emotional basketcase after a Blazer loss. It's that sort of stability that every board needs to keep things in perspective.
How many times are we going to have the Mikes explain what a great halftime adjustment the other coach made. What the hell is our coach doing?!
Portland is second in the NBA in 2nd half scoring margin at +4.8/game going into tonight. http://www.teamrankings.com/nba/stat/average-2nd-half-margin What the hell is Nate doing during the first half of games????!!! :MARIS61:
Are you seriously defending Nate? Jesus, Papa, when the hell did you become such an apologist? This team is fucking horrible on the road and that's a DIRECT RESULT of piss-poor coaching and ineffectual guard play.
Wait, Portland is 10th in first half margin at +1.6? What the hell is Nate doing in overtime???!!! http://www.teamrankings.com/nba/stat/average-1st-half-margin
I am getting tired of Nate's schtick, "Umm, we just got out scrapped, out hustled, the other team wanted it more...."
I don't follow the board that close, so can someone tell me who the Nate supporters are and who the Nate haters are? Are there leaders of each? Are both sides civil?
Aha!!! Portland is only 23rd in overtime at -0.1. Fire him!!!!! :MARIS61: http://www.teamrankings.com/nba/stat/average-overtime-margin
Don't take this as me supporting Nate, but wtf is he supposed to say? "Well, our players sucked tonight, so we lost"
I think Paul Allen should name Nate "Coach for Life" I mean, if his team is outscoring the opposition +4.8 points in the second half, clearly he's a master of in game adjustments. There's just no replacing this kind of basketball genius.
A sighting of that tricky stat guy who turned us against Andre Miller! I'll form the lynch party while you other guys get the noose!
Al stats, or someone who uses them in a way to look right? Stat guy is my favorite so far. Most likely rational
