We've already traded next year's pick to the Bobcats (lotto protected) so we can't do successive years unless we can get a first rounder back from somebody.

Oh no, we would get the first rounder from Milwaukee. That's why it's protected. If they get top 3; it's theirs. But anything higher we get.

    Turkoglu

Milwaukee wouldn't move a pick AND Bogut for pure expirings. I'm sure they'd want to take out the pick, and add in Stephen Jackson or Drew Gooden. And for us, Bogut has a broken left ankle, out 2-3 months. Maybe the season. I don't know if trading for an injured C, and one with an injury history is a great idea.

Well that's kinda why I thought we could pull it off. And in the meantime; Rhino could be the back up at PF. I would take Gooden but not Stephen Jackson. I really like the starting core of Nash, Crawford, Batum, Aldridge and Bogut is pretty solid. Camby, E. Will, Childress, Nolan Smith and Thomas off the bench would be sick, IMO.

The only reason it can't happen is a few things. #1; Oden would refuse the deal (he would lose his bird rights). #2 Howard would never sign with Portland. He is definitely a "Big City" player. #3 I hate Turk. :D

Oh, I read that wrong then. Which raises another question: Explain to me why Milwaukee would part ways with Andrew Bogut and their first round pick in a deep draft for that dreck?

You do realize Bogut is probably the only other center in the NBA with as glaring "How the hell did he get injured" as Oden. The guy gets injured all the time, if we go after a center lets go after an iron man in Hibbert.

I don't know. Hopefully they are stupid enough to do it? They haven't done well in drafts. :P

We would need to give up way more to get hibbert; even if that was ever an option. We would have a better chance getting McGee

At least Hibbert is healthy, we get Bogut here and his knees will disappear.

Dude don't get me wrong. I would cream my jeans if we could somehow get him. He is probably the most untouchable on their team though.

I think they match no matter what we throw at him, my thing is that if we Bogut I think were just in for disappointment after appointment because of injuries the whole time he is here.
