Okay, now explain Oden's problems without blaming it on McMillan.

There's a free McDonalds Kids Meal Toy at stake so make it good.

It sounds more like one or more players bitched that JC was not passing the ball. So Crawford made the point of not shooting last night and ONLY passing. At least until Nate got pissed and yelled at him to shoot when he was open. But I can't think who that player might be. it doesn't make sense. Maybe his account was hacked.

If he plays like he did last night after reading it, let him see it before every game

Well I'm not too concerned with Crawford as much as let's say Batum posting something like that. But if crawford is whining then he better do something about it. If he wants love then play to force the team and fans to love him.

It's not like he's some marquee player we are stuck with. Either play as a team player or go somewhere that doesn't mind you taking more shots than your most efficient players.

When the good Lord made Oden, he was like a drunken glassblower trying to make a hammer. The result is ingeneous and artistic, but has zero practical value.

So Crawford has got his panties in a twist and wants to go play somewhere else next year, which frees up time for Elliot Williams at the two-guard spot and I won't have to watch him nearly every night ...

Am I missing the downside here?

This will hurt our reputation for signing other big name free agents.

From that quote I gave, I think that was his agent's strategy all along. He will collect offers this summer not because of any emotional experience with the Blazers this year (whether good or bad), but because that was already the plan.

If he has a bad year here, he won't get a better offer and will stay here. If he has a good year here, he'll get a better offer and leave. So we can't win. Same as usual.

Does this really matter? I mean outside of Aldridge, Batum and possibly Williams, is any other player on this team today going to be here 2 years from now?

    They shouldn't be.....
