Yeah there have been a few threads on BBW about this, but hey I could care less. I love Paul Pierce, he is my favorite player, and I could never complain about having him in a Celtic uniform. But, I'm curious to see what moves Ainge makes because it looks like we are in Win Now mode after signing Paul to a 3-year deal.
Great news for the Boston Celtics and I am glad Pierce is sticking around in Boston. You have to love his loyalty.
20 mil a year extension. pretty big. He's the next Iverson though. Crappy GM with a great star, but screws the team around him up. Both teams had 1 great year, but are now done I'd say.

I get the point though...both Pierce and Iverson are both highly paid stars on rather poor teams with limited success...To say he's the 'next Iverson' doesn't make a lot of sense since they both are veterans but they will likely have similar careers with playoff success...etc..etc..

Pierce is the next iverson? lmao!and how can you even say danny ainge is a crappy gm? you obviously know nothing. You shouldn't be allowed to say the word "Celtics" ever again.
