When did it become wrong to be a supporter of your favorite team. I have never understood that since I joined this place. Is it only on forums that it's considered bad?

Hunh? I was just pointing out that Hardin got the rebound. I never defended the call. It was close, but clearly an error. As I said in my earlier post close calls get blown all the time, so I can accept that they happen. In this instance, I think that it was inexcusable that it was Foster that made it. There is absolutely no way he could tell from where he was at whether it was a block or not.

Whoops, hey sorry people in Portland who bought tickets to the game, and also to the tens of thousands at home who watched it on TV. Our ref, who has been known to associate with a felonious co-worker, fucked you guys over. SORRY!!!!

No biggie! Now go out there and buy those jerseys, buy those tickets, and forget it ever happened!

They never apologized. Not that it would mean anything, but still, they simply acknowledged that they made a mistake.

    haha. completely pointless.

I left the Rose Garden feeling like the NBA doesn't care about their product. I'm a "fringe" season ticket holder - I've had season tickets the last 3 years but not this year. And it's partly because of bullshit like this. The NBA needs to inject a little common sense into its league. This call was the most critical play of the game, and the refs aren't allowed to review it? It's not like it's a foul or anything - it's pretty simple: did Aldridge get to the ball before it hit the glass? Football deals with things 100X more complicated happening simultaneously in its replays. If the goal of replay is to make sure that the right call is made during the crucial moments, then they clearly need to rethink their methods of achieving that goal. In a league that is already criticized more than most for it's officiating, you'd think the powers that be would do everything they can to minimize errors. WRONG!

    Goaltending should definitely be reviewable.

They should just give coaches a couple of challenges during the game, it would make things easier.
