It matters because while it's true that most players will be gone, we want to use them to acquire new players. So we can't just throw most of our roster into the garbage. We have to recycle these scrubs or we'll be left with a D-League team. So we don't want Crawford to walk. We want to trade him.
I didn't say let them walk for nothing, did I? I agree, trade them or use that cap space (if they can) to get younger\better....but the point was, that outside of the three players I mentioned, there isn't another player on this current team who is worth holding onto... Felton, Crawford, Wallace, Matthews, Camby, Thomas, C.Smith, N.Smith, Babbitt, A. Johnson, C.Johnson and Oden.... that is a whole lot of..."ugh" sitting on our bench....Trade em, let them walk if you can't trade them for something of use...but two years from now if all these guys are gone, the team will probably be better for it... yeah, that is how far this team has fallen in the talent department....Thank you Chad Buchanan...
I wonder if it could be something Aldridge said in the Canzano interview. I caught the comment about his teammates not coming through in some games.
What does this mean? I know JC is a genuinely nice guy, but I guess what goes with that is he seems really sensitive. If these really were his tweets, I wonder how he has lasted this long in the NBA . . . because (1) don't get butthurt over that kind of stuff and (2) if you do, keep it behind close doors and don't go public with it.
Oh, I thought you might have been talking about the person JC was refering to. So do you think these tweets by JC is telling of the "chemistry" breaking up? Who is your best guess on who he refering to?
I have seen no beef whatsoever between any of our players. I think it's something else in his life not the team.
So what is with the "you don't have to worry I'll be gone in a few months then you can blame someone else" comment
It's a tiff with an online friend. He's referring to the fact that he plans on deleting his MySpace page over the offseason.
In an interview with Canzano that aired a few days ago, LA said "I'm putting too much pressure on myself to do it everynight and it shouldn't be like that. I'm getting frustrated b/c we beat Char. by 50 and go to Sac. and guys look like they've never been on a court before . . . it's killing me b/c 1 night I know if I do this, then I get this. But other nights I do this, and I'm not getting that . . . That's been hard for me." Crawford's "I thought it all for 1 and 1 for all . . . " made me think he was taking a shot at LA. But, then you see that him and LA have since tweeted back and force a bunch. So now I don't think it was directed at LA. OR, they patched it up quickly.
Latest tweet: "I was warned, didn't listen to the advice from lil bro..." Could lil bro be Brandon Roy? And what would BRoy warn him about?
