Yes I know this kid can catch and he is large but DAMN I'd like to see him as our OLB! He looks like a bigger version of Brian Urlacher and I've heard he hits like a truck, he fast as all and he'd plug the gaps on short yardage. This kid could be the evil swagger our defense secondary needs to back up AA and Buckner. Let Brown and French handle the TE spot. Of course I know Colt's a great TE but geez he's talented on both sides of the ball and on offense we only see him a handful of plays a game. On defense he'd be a highlight reel! I saw Colt run the length of the field almost catch the Mamba and give him a block that caused DAT to score. Colt can move!
he can play almost anywhere yep. But iirc he was in the same mindframe as armstead only opposite. He wants to play Offense
Thats where I wanted him to play coming out of high school. But after watching his hands and size combination last year, he'll be one of the great TE's. 1st round pick for sure.
You can't say it wouldn't be nice to have a 6'5 LB that runs a sub 4.5 and hits like a truck roaming the secondary! I wouldn't want to go over the middle for a catch blndly knowing that could knock me into the bleachers.... Oh well!
The Ducks are all about offense, and we really need some recieving weapons. Last year, it seemed our only reliable target was Dave Paulson, and now he's gone. I belive Colt will be a day 1 pick in the NFL draft in a few years.... With Bennett and Colt, we have the fastest white boys in college football.
rivals lists Anthony Wallace as running the same 40 time as Colt. At their official team weigh in last offseason, Colt came in all of 3 pounds heavier. The grass is pretty green on this side of the fence too. STOMP
I'm excited to see how Wallace performs this season with a full spring camp and fall camp under his belt. He saw the field some last year, which at Oregon means he earned the right to play as a true freshman.

BTW- Rivals has the dream team of recruits and DAT is said to be the best player on both sides of the ball that this particular scout has ever seen! AA made this list too as the best OL player this scout has ever seen period! Pretty nice cause the rest of thier list has our guys with some pretty kick ass company!
