<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>SALT LAKE CITY (July 17, 2006) ? Day three of the 2006 Reebok Rocky Mounatin Revue began as the Dallas Mavericks and the Philadelphia 76ers took the court at 3:00 on Monday afternoon. Dallas Mavericks head coach, Avery Johnson watched intently from his seat in the stands at the Lifetime Activities Center at Salt Lake Community College as his Mavs got off to a slow start as the 76ers led 12-5 early.Dallas big man, Pavel Podkolzin was dressed in street clothes as he watched the game. The Dallas coaches decided to give the 7?5? center from Russia the day off. Pops Mensah-Bonsu was also absent from the lineup for the Mavericks, but he was dressed.Marshall Strickland got off to a hot start scoring eight points in the first quarter and the 76ers led the Mavericks, 24-14 at the end of one thanks to 10 Dallas turnovers. Both teams shot the ball well, a rarity in the RMR. The Mavericks shot 46percent in the first quarter and the 76ers shot 55 percent. The 76ers continued their hot shooting while leaving the Mavericks in the dust. A long Louis Williams jump shot as time ran out in the first half gave Philadelphia a 20 point lead at the break. The 76ers shot an amazing 59 percent in the first half while Dallas dropped to 44 percent.</div>Recap: http://www.nba.com/jazz/Revue/06game7.htmlBoxscore isn't up yet.Louis dropped 22.Anyone else think Williams is really benefitting from this? It's great for him. But wow..90-59.. I know it's the summer league but still..

This isnt as bad as the Celtics DEMOLISHING the Raptors by like 50 pts..that was flat out embarrasing for the Raps. A lot of players on the Cs had double figures in pts, rebs, and/or assists.

We only won one game so far.</div>Nah, I know. I'm just saying when your team sucks and you lose a couple of the best players on the team, of course it's going to get pretty ugly.
dont get too excited about Williams numbers cuz those were about da same numbers Salmons used to have when he participated in Summer League play for us and once it came to regular season i would cringe when he had da ball

I liked how Williams played when he got a few minutes here and there last season. I think he can become a very good player. He was just out of high school also so he can become very good. But right now just because he is doing good in the summer league of course don't mean he will do the same in the NBA in the up coming season. But then again you never know, because he can become good in a few years.
