My goodness, high school teams run the fast break better. These guys don't spread out and fill lanes and don't move the ball. It's embarrassing how many fast breaks are being blown. There is still no real idea of roles and responsibilities. Backups aren't being developed and the young players are mostly dead-ended. The youngsters aren't playing enough for the front office to even figure out if they have a future in the league or not. On a lot of nights, it appears to me that the players aren't on the same page with each other or with the coach. I hear this from basketball people who are in town scouting or covering these games, too. Are they still listening to the coach? Are they buying in to what he's selling? Is everyone pulling together for a common goal? I don't know. But a lot of nights it sure doesn't look like it.
I know a lot of the posters on this board doesn't like Jaynes, but I've been a fan of his since he was on the Journal. I said some of the same things during our last game. No chemistry at all and no ball movement.
Interesting to me that this OP, who has been rumored to be a long lost poster, uses the same style of quoting someone without making it clear that it's a quote. Anyway the only quibble i have is a reference to "obvious unrest" in the locker room; haven't heard anything about that.
So? We have posters every bit as bad or worse than Mixum. People who contribute zip and do nothing but cause dissension. I still don't see why he was banned.

He was banned because all he did was cause drama; and contribute nothing meaningfull to the board. The other people that do the same should be banned as well. This board is for Basketball discussion regarding the Blazers, not their personal forum for trolling, personal attacks, 90210 drama, and the likes. Banning him was one of the reasons why I started coming here more... I dont have to sift through countless crap threads to read good discussion.
