    But that statement wasn't directed toward you--it was directed toward BP, who stated that he makes the vast majority of his purchases in Oregon for the express purpose of avoiding tax.

    If you suggested that they should reduce the income tax (but not eliminate it) and add a small (5%) sales tax, then I'd be on board.

    Personally, I think people who live in WA and work in OR should have to pay a reduced tax. Maybe at 3% or something.

    No thanks to getting rid of the income tax. As long as I live here ill vote against sales tax.

    I do not have a problem with this change. I would also not have a problem with paying a toll for using a new I-5 bridge.
