Reggie Miller just said that Russell Westbrook got caught "ball washing". I assume he meant "ball watching"?
I'm using headphones while watching this game in SAC. Bass is ridiculous. My ears are hurting from this fake noise.
Look at the Rockets bench. Man, they're at it again... http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/boxscore;_ylt=AuwH_E9_6_5WIE4RtjToKJW8vLYF?gid=2012020921

Congrats Shaq. Quite the honor. http://www.nba.com/video/channels/tnt_overtime/2012/02/09/20120209_inside3.nba/
Lin with the sweet spin move. He's the real deal folks. 18pts, 5asts and its not even halftime. He's been the focal point of the Lakers defense, too.
He's on a heck of a run, that's for sure. His USG% is 28.1, though, with a TO% of 17.8, so it will be interesting to see if he can continue to shoot 53% from the field as a PG for an extended stretch of games.
Comparing Nash and Lin under D'Antoni, Nash's highest USG% was 23.3 for a season. Can Lin keep up a 61.3% TS rate for more than 12 games and a .265 WS/48 as well?
Lin's turnovers all seem to come in the 2nd half. His game with 8, they all came in the 2nd half. I think they need to rest him a bit more in the 1st half so he has fresher legs in the 2nd. Plus, when Amare and Carmelo back, the defense won't be able to focus on him like they are tonight.
They're bringing the Gasol/Bynum up for the trap consistently. He's good at getting through it, but as the game has worn on he's looking more tired for sure.
