Toronto's in the (big) market for a new point guard after Jose Calderon has dedicated himself this season to breaking every floorboard at the ACC with incessant dribbling, and Brandon Jennings, fed up with the slow life in Milwaukee, is looking for a big market team to take him in. Granted--there are a few others who could use a young point guard--but perhaps none as much as we do. The proverbial "get er done BC" might apply here. Only guy I would hesitate to give up would be JoVa. Take everyone else.

In other news Sonny Weems has just now publicly whined that he never hears about himself in the Toronto rags anymore, nor from our coach or management, so he doesn't consider himself a Raptor and doesn't think he'll be back.

I'm a bit hesitant on Jennings. I have never really liked him because i prefer pass first, efficient point guard. On the other hand, there's no denying he has talent. I also think he's a pretty good fit for the team. So I think BC should look to try to acquire him but we are going to have to give up a lot. What sort of assets do we have that Milwaukee (or anyone) wants? Val is a huge asset but i definitely don't wanna trade him for Jennings. Bargnani is playing pretty good this season so I don't really want to trade him for Jennings. And lastly, I definitely don't want to give up our 2012 pick. Outside of that, go for it BC!

    Was Weems that good?

Well, why would anyone talk about Weems when he's in Europe(?) playing ball? Even if the raps lose him, I don't think it will be a big deal.

In regards to Jennings, I am a big fan of his game. Getting him on the raps would be cool. Do you think BC would consider a package that involves Ed Davis? or would that be too much?

^ Not too much, I think. Too little. It would have to be Davis plus our pick this year. Getting Davis doesn't help Milwaukee at all, really.

Jennings + DeRozan would be a back-court straight outta Compton.

Regarding Weems--he made the decision to sign overseas. Can't really blame people for ignoring him. He isn't Wilson Chandler.

Ed Davis and this year's pick is too much. Don't want to give a likely high pick. Maybe lottery protected?

I want Jennings, for sure. He's very good friends with DeMar and Amir it would boost chemistry as well as our play. It would make our team better no doubt. He'll wanna pass the ball the DD or Bargs or JoVa, plus with Casey instilling defense..we could have one of the best PGs in the league.

    GET ER DONE BC!
