Who is out there? Machida isn't worthy of a title eliminator...he's 1-3 in his last 4 fights? Bonnar is on a 3 fight win streak...that matchup could be fire works. Forrest Griffin is also available? That'd be an awesome fight, I think. Anybody at HW? Maybe Hendo/Ortiz as Ortiz' last fight?

Bisping would love a rematch, I'm sure. Maybe at 195?

Shogun doesn't deserve a rematch. He got dominated for 3 and a half rounds. Winning a round and a half doesn't get you a rematch.

Shogun/Machida should fight again. They're 1-1 (Shogun should have it 2-0) and both coming off losses. No better timing than now for a rubber match.

Who could Hendo fight @ HW? A good entertaining fight? Matt Mitrione?

Doesn't make sense, to me, for him to fight at heavyweight.

Maybe he doesn't want to risk his LHW contender spot?

I guess he isn't worried about that since he isn't waiting.

    How about Shane Carwin?

I'd love to see Hendo fight Big Country.

That would be an interesting fight with Big Country and him, considering both guys would just be looking to load up on that right hand, and clobber the other one.

An update from DFW: Dan doesn't want to fight Machida, but he doesn't want to wait for Bones or Silva. He's either gonna have to take a fight or wait. I really hope he waits, to be honest. I think Jones will fuck his shit up, but I want to see if Jones can eat an H-bomb if Hendo does land it.

Condit I don't get. He's claims to be a fighter and he's still young. I think in time, you'll see him agree to a fight with Ellenberger if GSP can't fight his year. Word is that GSP is healing quickly from his ACL surgery. Hendo on the other hand is in the twilight of his career and only has a few fights left in him. He's worn gold in every organization but the UFC...he's beat Babaulu, Feijao, Fedor, and Shogun in a row and has won 7 of his last 8 fights. I don't mind him waiting for a title shot..he deserves one (maybe I'm a homer).

Meh... with JJ talking recently about wanting time off (supposing he beats Rashad, which he should), I think Hendo would be better served to fight a mid-tier LHW in the meantime. Maybe not Machida (who he was supposedly offered to fight) but someone like Forrest Griffin or Brandon Vera.

Condit should be fighting as well seeing as how some knee injuries have a tendency to recur, as has already happened with GSP once.
