    Re: Paul Pierce Help!

Ok, I'm in a mock off-season on another site, It's kind of like a simleague, but not really. I have Paul Pierce on my team right now, and one by one each team get a senario they have to deal with. This is my time for it. This is kind of like a riddle that I have to solve which either tells me to keep Pierce and bring in another player to accomidate, or trade him away to a team. HELP ME IT'S SO CONFUSING!!!<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%">Pierce Remembers College, Kansas</span>Paul Pierce is happy to be out of Boston, where he has spent his entire career, but he is now focused on winning a ring, and that takes more than a star player."Back in Kansas, we ran as a team. The beautiful thing about it was...we had alot in common, and that team became a family. It's something that not only got me motivated every game, but eventually dropped me into the pros."Where he was connected with Raef LaFrentz, a former Kansas center, Pierce feels he is connected with another more than just from the college they attended. A trade may be necessary, but if the Suns only knew what this connection was, or any other GM, a potential duo could be formed easier than expected.</div>P.S. It's not Raef LaFrentz.

Scot Pollard? He played with Pierce in Kansas, he was part of the 97 draft and Pierce was part of the 98 draft. It's either him or Jacque Vaughn who was drafted by the Jazz the same year Scot was.

Yeah, I was thinking that, but then it said about a potential duo. How could he made a duo with someone who is crap? lol.

Both Scot and Vaughn averaged around 10 points in there last seasons in Kansas, is it asking for someone who Paul can make a good duo with now and that was out of the University of Kansas?

But when they were teammates, Pierce was probably a senior and KH was a freshmen that sat on the bench most of the time. Kirk started playing good when Pierce was gone.

    Re: Paul Pierce Help!

You sure it's not Raef? Pierce/Raef were in the same draft (98) and Raef went #3 and Paul went #10 (LMAO I am soooo happy he slipped).

The other two NBA players from that team I can think of were Scott Pollard and Jaque Vaughn. Other than LaFrentz, Pollard, Vaughn - I'm stumped. And I'm kind of pissed that I am stumped too lol.

But to me it looks like the connection is with a Suns player, but off the top of my head I can't think of any Sun that went to Kansas. But this riddle is confusing. Is it looking for a player that also went to Kansas? Because this doesn't say it has to be a player from Kansas, it says the connection is "more than just attending the same college." That doesn't necessarily mean this player went to Kansas.

I don't know man, is it a former Celtic teammate of Paul that is on the suns now in that mock offseason? Antoine Walker, Eric Williams, Tony Delk, Walter McCarty, Kenny Anderson, etc???

It couldn't have been Kirk. Kirk was drafted in '03, Paul in '98. Thats 5 year difference right there. They couldn't have been on the team at the same time.I figured it out, it was Drew Gooden. It was gooden because they both had a 'connection' outside of school, which was their nicknames. They both were called the Truth, Gooden in HS, PP in NBA.
