ive looked at his highlights and history and he seems like a great versatile playerhe seems like he has a few things to work on but he still hasn't gotten much of an oppurtunity to play because of the awful situation in portlandi think if we give him a specific role he can be THAT dude..he wont be a scoring point guard and he shouldnt have to be..hes gunna be a role player that we're gunna need down the stretch in the long runi say dont go for the AI deal and keep this dude..bringing AI in could destroy the chemistry this young team (2nd youngest in the NBA btw) already has..then again it could be good but who's to judge? i dont wanna do this AI trade then regret it later when he's complaining and sebastian telfair and gerald green & AL are off somewhere having career years *See Redsox trading Bronson Arroyo for Wily Mo Pena

I dont think he will live up to the hype, although he is a very versatile player.....good fit with the celtics too..

I don't think highly of him but I know Nate McMillan can be really strict, kind of like Jerry Sloan where he isn't afraid to put a player on the pine...He was splitting time with Jarrett Jack which is kind of troubling to me even though I am a fan of Jack. To me he's kind of like a T.J. Ford who has yet to prove anything. He's still really young but 6'0" 165 pound PG's who don't score or shoot don't get me excited. He's already asked a retired Celtic to unretire his number which isn't classy at all...really selfcentered actually... I think Rajon Rondo will be a better player.

He seems to be a good pass first pg. He was great in high school. The kid has lots of talent to be one of the best passers in the League. I dont know if he will live up to it, but he should do a solid job. Whether he stays or not depends on his play, so it is hard to judge right now. I like the TJ Ford comparison. I think another comparison is someone on his own team. Rajon Rondo actually. Both arent good scorers or shooters, but they're out there because of their passing abilities. Only thing is, Rajon is a better defender then Telfair..

Sebastian was really hyped up, the documentary and everything. Going into that draft, you would think that he would have clearly been a top 10 pick without a doubt but he slipped to #13. I know that isn't really a big factor for his career but maybe teams saw something that deterred them away from taking him. I think Rondo will be better as well, he's definately a quicker player and a better defender. He has more upside than Telfair does...he was a third option at PG on a horrible Portland Trail Blazers team. Interesting point about Telfair, The Boston Celtics has player sections inside the Banknorth Garden as a marketing thing. For instance there is a Ryan Gomes section, a Paul Pierce section, etc. I noticed they have one for Telfair as well, so that makes me believe we will be keeping onto him, atleast for this season. There had been talk about him maybe being in an Iverson deal but I don't think Boston will dish him.

welcome to the site playa.i think Telfair's services will be very useful, and he is a great guy to have around. he seems like a good kid. Always happy, extravert(sp?), that kind of stuff. He should mesh well. He's a keeper unless Philly wants him.
