If you disregard the botched layup, I think Boozer had his best game of the season. He was beastly. What's remarkable to me is that so many of his points require the rest of the team to play well. He really is a system player.....and remarkably good at moving without the ball. I think his off-ball movement might be his most distinguishable NBA level skill, which is really odd for a bulky PF. How on earth did he get a reputation as a back-to-the-basket PF? It's his least effective skill on offense. I like everything else he does except that.
Boozer had a really nice close out where he ran (I think it was) Ray Allen off the three point line in (I think it was) the first quarter. That was good to see from him.
Truly enjoyed the game. Boozer played a very good game, but was absolutely badass in Q2. Deng was terrific, particularly late. Tip of the cap to Mike James. He was clearly the most effective PG we had last night. At different points in the game, Pierce, Garnett, Rondo and Allen looked unstoppable. Shortly after this happened, each stopped getting the shots they were nailing. Nice job, Thibs.
