I enjoyed the Mo Cheeks years better than this shit. The miracle minute vs Dallas, the comeback from 0-3 to force 7th game vs Dallas in playoffs, the 12 game win streak (some of the best ball we've played ever), the Steve Kerr year, the game against the Lakers where everyone threw the Bill Walton dolls on the court, too name a few memorable moments.
BTW, is it actually true that the Blazers and Knicks are currently tied for the longest streak without winning a play-off series? Even perennial sad sack loser franchises like the Clippers, Warriors, Timberwolves, etc. have all won at least one playoff series since the Blazers and Knicks last won a playoff series in 2000. BNM

Next time you watch the blazers, count at any given offensive possession, how many people are actually moving and doing something. Most of the time, its the ball handler and one other guy. the other 3 are just standing around watching...
Once again, this is spot on. I frankly don't want the Blazers to hire a retread. Identify a great young mind and take a fucking chance. Isn't that how the accidental zillionaire got his zillions in the first place?
That hasn't worked out very well in the GM spot, and the last thing the Blazers need, IMO, is a coach that will be underpaid, can be pushed around by Vulcan-types/Larry Miller, and is expendable. Also, who was the last "great young mind", on his first head coaching job, who took over a team without a legitimate MVP and won a title with that team? I can't think of one.
I understand you don't like Paul Allen, but this is very harsh. Maybe the fact he has dropped off in wealth has something to do with how much money he gives away each year.
