He's just trying to make sure that Nic is well-rested for the All-Star break.

And everytime Crawford launches a contested three with 15 seconds left on the shot clock and Batum wide open, you must drink.

I will go out on a limb here and predict that starting at point guard will actually prompt him to play like a point guard, since he will be on the floor with enough other scorers that he won't feel like he has to be the first option.

    I think we win tonight.

In all seriousness, I think he will do well tonight. Certainly not the long term answer

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Honestly, Crawford is the better player (regarding Felton) and his assist rate isn't bad. His problem is not so much ball-hogging as it is poor shot selection. If Batum can eat away Felton's minutes, that's the biggest production upgrade. I think Crawford will pass him the ball...but, in any case, it's worth trying. You have to try anything you can to get Felton (who's having a Telfair kind of year) off the court. Maybe it'll work, maybe it won't...it's worth experimenting with.

Might as well try it. I'm not optimistic, but when you get buried by like 25 points in the FIRST FUCKING QUARTER in the previous game, and when Felton has played like shit all season, you gotta try something.

Kudos to Nate for experimenting. I'm often hard on him for his unwillingness to change, so I gotta give props when he does try it.

I really don't understand why we aren't combing over the waiver wire to dredge up something, anything, that could arguably start. Felton has really, really lowered the bar on what can be considered an acceptable PG upgrade.

Yeah, joking aside I see this move as 100% positive, even if it's not a long-term solution. Crawford is frustrating, but generally productive -- which is way more than can be said for Felton this year. That dude needs to get his shit together, physically and mentally.

In a perfect world I'd like to see Nate give the reigns to Nolan Smith and tell him it's his team, go see what you can do. If it fails, so be it
