So what was the exact trade? Do the Bobcats have NOTHING to show for giving us Wallace?

They also have the New Orleans #1 from the last draft that I think helped them move up to get Biyombo. That, not having to pay Wallace and our future first is pretty good compensation for a guy that has played horribly on the road. Love GW at the Garden, but he has to figure it out.

We have one this year, but not next year. Not sure what protection the pick has next year

They got a good deal, IMO. They got 11 mil in cap relief plus two first rounders. That's not bad at all, IMO. Charlotte wasn't going anywhere with Wallace, so why not trade him for picks and cap space?

Well, I think the Blazers at least get to the playoffs with or without Wallace, so the trade wasn't bad for us either. I truly think with a good PG, this team can actually contend. I know I am in the minority here though.

I learned that Joel decided for us, then saw this thread title, and thought that HCP was proposing to trade Wallace and Przybilla for someone. I thought, man, HCP is fast, I wonder who we get.

That sounds eerily familiar. Like there is another sports team I sometimes follow that is in a similar situation. I can't quite put my finger on it though....
