    Excuse my ignorance about this stuff, but are the results from that test JUST the speed of the ISP? Is the speed independent of the quality of the computer, how it is set up, or the router?

    I have a Comcast bundle, and I get 1M down and .36 up, with .86 for ping.

    It was really slow when we had Qwest DSL, too.
